Kindergarten

THE MONTESSORI KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM FOCUSES ON LEADERSHIP, ACADEMIC MILESTONES, IN ADDITION TO DEVELOPING THE CHILD’S ABILITY TO CARE FOR THEMSELVES, OTHERS AND THEIR ENVIRONMENT.

In Montessori, children are given the opportunity to work in a space prepared specifically for them using materials designed to meet their development needs which facilitate maximum independent learning and exploration.

Children are free to choose work the Guide has presented to them from the areas of practical life, sensorial, mathematics, and language, encompassing culture, art, music, geography, and more. Children's House is a social environment where children learn to cooperate, share, and help others.

THE CONTENT BELOW INCLUDES A SMALL SAMPLING OF OUR VAST OPPORTUNITIES PROVIDED TO THE CHILDREN IN EACH CHILDREN’S HOUSE CLASSROOM.

The KINDERGARTEN schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Students may also participate in Before and After Care in the Enrichment Center. Learn more about Tuition Rates.

I became such a believer in the Montessori education principles and the environment my daughter was being nurtured in that I committed to their all-day Kindergarten, and now their 1st grade elementary program. The true enjoyment and dedication I view from the guides (teachers) and staff at WBMS correlates to the great learning environment my child brings home continuously.
