ADMISSIONS
We Are fully enrolled for the 2023-2024 School year. WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.
Please contact our Assistant Head of School or call 651-429-3710 to inquire about submitting an Application for Admission to the current wait pool for future enrollment or for any other assistance. If you are interested in admission to our Kindergarten or Elementary programs, please contact the school before scheduling a tour, as prior Montessori experience is required.
For over 50 years, White Bear Montessori School has been honored to provide our community with authentic Montessori education. We look forward to getting to know your family as we introduce you to our school.
WBMS proudly supports each child’s complete development, including their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive milestones; additionally, allowing them to develop those skills at their own pace. We endeavor to enroll families who are interested in joining us on the journey of supporting their children in this holistic approach.
WBMS is a non-profit, private school that relies on parent participation to function, helping us deliver quality education to our students. While not all parents can offer support due to family circumstances, parent involvement is necessary and enriches us all. There are many opportunities to help create a supportive WBMS community; be active in our fundraising efforts, and serve on task forces, committees, or the school board.
White Bear Montessori School does not discriminate. We provide enrollment opportunities to children regardless of economic or social class, racial or ethnic heritage, religious belief, or family structure. No attempt is made to select students of special or outstanding ability.
Children 16 months - 2 ½ years of age will be considered for our Toddler program.
Children 2 ½ - 6 years of age will be considered for our Children’s House program.
Children 6 - 12 years of age will be considered for our Elementary program.
Age is determined for all students as of September 1st of the requested enrollment period.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
Please contact our Assistant Head of School to request an Application for Admission.
To begin the enrollment process, submit a completed application and a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee, per family. The date applications are received, as well as age and gender diversity, capacity, and other classroom factors are reviewed before the acceptance of students.
Admission to the school only occurs after completion of all items required as specified in our Procedure for Admissions, and the Enrollment Fee is paid.
