2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR
For nearly 50 years, White Bear Montessori School has been honored to provide our community with an authentic Montessori education. We look forward to getting to know your family as we introduce you to our school.
WBMS proudly supports each child’s complete development, including their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive milestones; additionally, allowing them to develop those skills at his or her own pace. We endeavor to enroll families who are interested in joining us on the journey of supporting their children in this holistic approach.
AS A FIRST STEP, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SCHEDULE A TIME TO OBSERVE IN ONE OF OUR CLASSROOMS AND SEE THE MONTESSORI DIFFERENCE. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE OR CONTACT US TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT; OBSERVATIONS ARE SCHEDULED MOST MORNINGS AT 9 AM.
WBMS is a non-profit, private school that relies on parent participation to function, helping us deliver a quality education to our students. While not all parents can offer support due to family circumstances, parent involvement is necessary and enriches us all. There are many opportunities to help create a supportive WBMS community; be active in our fundraising efforts, serve on task forces, committees, or the school board.
White Bear Montessori School does not discriminate. We provide enrollment opportunities to children regardless of economic or social class, racial or ethnic heritage, religious belief or family structure. No attempt is made to select students of special or outstanding ability.

WBMS is committed to an economically diverse student body and welcomes the opportunity to provide financial support where needed to help families send their children to our school. Approximately 10% of our total budget is dedicated to tuition assistance, which is funded by the school and supplemental grants from the Montessori community.

After all applications have been received; SMART Tuition provides an unbiased assessment of financial need.
