The Annual Fund Drive is the first of two major fundraising events of the year and generally occurs in the Fall. Proceeds from the Fund Drive are applied to the school's operating costs. Contributions to the Fund Drive are tax-deductible, offering the school a method for keeping tuition low and offering parents the opportunity to deduct their contribution, which would otherwise be paid in higher (non-tax-deductible) tuition. Each family is expected to participate in an amount appropriate for them, and this expectation is part of the enrollment agreement.

The Spring Event is the second of two major fundraising events of the year; the theme and details of this event change annually but often include a silent auction, great gatherings and pay to play games. Proceeds from this event are applied both to the school's operating costs and to special projects, such as financial aid or playground improvements. Many contributions to the auction are tax-deductible. While the goal is to fund raise for our school, it is also one of our largest community building events. Two tickets to attend this event are included in the Community Fee paid at the start of the school year. Past themes have included Trivia Night, Carnival, The Journey, Secret Garden, and A Night in Vegas!

Many opportunities for volunteering occur throughout the year, from short-term projects, like weeding the gardens or painting a table, to longer-term commitments, such as coaching soccer or participating on the Board of Directors. A questionnaire regarding each parent's skills and volunteering interests is included in the enrollment packet. Please contact the office at if you would like more information.

WBMS participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education program. Families can clip and bring in the Box Tops coupons from hundreds of products such as Cheerios, Ziploc, Kleenex, and others. The school can redeem the Box Tops coupons for cash.
