Parent Infant
- Age Range: 8 weeks to 16 months
- Weekly Schedule:Wedneday
- Time:8:45 – 11:00am
Parents and infants come together as a community once a week to
a beautifully prepared environment. The children are able to move
freely in a room with infant-sized furniture, movement apparatus,
and developmentally appropriate toys. The toys are made of natural
materials that allow the children to explore and learn while playing
with them. The younger, non-mobile children are very curious
and intrigued by the older children. The children sit together
for a snack where they are given the opportunity to use a small
cup and appropriately-sized fork and spoon. The Guide will
assist families during the sessions as well as engage in conversations
about development at this early age. Through discussions,
we will be better able to understand each individual child’s needs
at this age and work together to assist and guide the children
along their paths of development and independence.
